Go behind the scenes with zoo staff for an up-close giraffe experience that connects cost to care, along with other great activities at the zoo. It’s the perfect opportunity for families to launch a journey of resilience and savvy while enjoying the magic of Santa Barbara.
Using a day in the life of a giraffe as a real-world case study in planning, budgeting, and philanthropy, we offer four developmentally appropriate tracks:
Kids (4-9), Tweens (10-12), Teens (13-17): hands-on adventures led by Bounce10 Navigators to build life-long skills and financial vocabulary. Our youngest participants will learn about the care and costs that wildlife requires while our older learners will get a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to run a whole zoo.
Parents & Grandparents: A parallel workshop led by Joline, featuring practical strategies for raising financially fluent children.
